If you’re Jordanian and retired, the Social Security Corporation (SSC) has good news for you.

On Tuesday, the Corporation is going to announce how much more money retirees will be receiving on their pension.

The spokesperson for the SSC told Roya that “the Corporation will be announcing the increase in pension rates during a press conference tomorrow.”

It is expected that the maximum increase on each salary, per month, will not exceed JD 20.

Quite fittingly, the announcement will be made on Labour Day, the national holiday that celebrates workers worldwide.
