The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) was able to finally catch an “extremely dangerous” criminal on Friday, who has been on the run since 2011.

The fugitive was hiding in the central Badia region and CID officers seized a weapon from him when they placed him under arrest.

A security source said that the CID officers found the man after receiving a tip about his whereabouts. They were able to locate him just a few days later.

The criminal is wanted on 22 charges, according to the same source.

Ten days ago, a number of “dangerous and wanted” fugitives handed themselves in to the authorities in Jordan.

A security source said that the criminals were wanted on serious charges, including drug-dealing, murder and theft.

A source revealed at the time that each criminal was guilty of committing at least 12 offences.
