Temperatures on the rise for next two days

While summer is a long way away, Jordan is forecasted to experience temperatures higher that the annual average in the upcoming three days starting Tuesday, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

On Tuesday, daytime temperatures will reach 29 °C in Amman, 28 °C in northern cities and 27 °C in southern areas, dropping to 16 °C, 17 °C and 13 °C, respectively, at night.

In Aqaba, hot weather forecasts are expected to prevail with a high of 36 °C and low of 24 °C.

As for Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures will rise 6-7 °C above the annual average for this time of the year, creating relatively hot conditions in the capital and the Badia region and warm conditions in the hilly areas, JMD added.
