King Abdullah issued a Royal Decree on Monday, approving the appointment of Dr. Saeb Khreisat as president of the University of Science and Technology (JUST), Dr. Zeidan Kafafi as president of Yarmouk University (YU) and Dr. Najeeb Abou Karaki as president of Al Hussein Bin Talal University. The new presidents will serve a four-year term that will start on March 18, 2018.

Dr. Saeb Khreisat joined JUST in 2013 as a professor in the Faculty of Agriculture at the Department of Natural Resources.

Dr. Zeidan Kafafi joined YU in the late eighties and was the Dean of the Faculty of Archeology and Anthropology from 2009 until 2011.

Dr. Najeeb Abou Karaki was the Dean of the Science Faculty at the University of Jordan from 2012 until 2014.
