She was announced the winner at the Berlin International Tourism Fair where Secretary-General of the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Zurab Pololikashvili named the winners of the 10th Oscar Awards for Tourism Media.

Princess Dana is the first woman and Jordanian to receive the award. The Arab Heritage Personal Award is the most prominent of all awards at the 10th edition of the Arab Tourism Media Oscar awards for this year. Around 187 figures from 14 Arab countries competed for awards where the winners were determined by 1.5 million votes.
