The 2018 winter session results of the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) will be announced by the next weekend, between February 16-18, educational sources confirmed to Roya.
The Minister of Education, Omar Razzaz, is scheduled to hold a press conference on Saturday, February 10th, to confirm the date, the source said.
For the 2018 winter session, a total of 175,947 students have registered for the exam in all study streams, including 89,968 regular students (first-timers) and 85,979 private-study applicants, who retook the exam, as they fail in previous sessions, the Ministry's Secretary-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Sami Salaita said.
Exams were conducted in the period between January 07-23, 2018, at around 522 schools were allocated to hold the Tawjihi exam, which included 1581 halls in different regions of the Kingdom.
