HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), launched an awareness campaign entitled "Up to the Challenge?” on the occasion of World Cancer Day, which took place on February 4, 2018.

In her message on social media, HRH Princess Ghida said:

"Smoking is the main cause of cancer. I plead with you to quit smoking. A cigarette is not worth losing the best days of our lives. Think before you light a cigarette, which could cost you your life."

"I am sure your will has no limits. I am sure your determination will conquer cancer. I am sure you are up to the challenge."

The "Up to the Challenge?" Campaign targets all segments of society.

Participation is open to everyone by choosing a health challenge in one of five different categories: smoking cessation, healthy eating, physical activity, early detection, and joining the Cancer Care Program (CCP) for cancer coverage.
