Police in Amman caught the armed robbers who attacked a pharmacy and two supermarkets in Amman on Saturday, according to the Public Security Directorate (PSD).

A statement released by the PSD on Sunday said that the three suspects were caught following a thorough investigation.

During the investigation, the suspects admitted to committing the three robberies, in addition to robbing two other stores, according to the statement.

The document added that the robbers had used a stolen licence plate on their getaway car, and that one of them has a criminal record.

Police said that they were able to recover some of the stolen cash and other items that were take from the two former robberies.

The men will now be referred to the State Security Court on charges of armed robbery.
