Twenty-one Palestinians detained in the West Bank

Twenty-one Palestinians were arrested by Israeli soldiers on Monday including minors, during raids in different part across the West Bank, International Middle East Media Center (IMEMC) reported citing the Palestinian Detainees’ Committee.

According to the committee, four Palestinians were detained in Hebron, southern West Bank.

The soldiers also abducted one Palestinian from Kafr Ra’ey town, Jenin, northern West Bank.

Meanwhile, in Bethlehem, three children were detained and were identified as Amir Taqatqa, 14, Amer Taqatqa, 15 and Ali Deeriyya, 15.

Furthermore, a reporter working for the al-Hurriya Radio in Ramallah was detained, while his brother who is also a reporter was assaulted.

Another child identified as Mohammed Iyad Burnat, 14, was detained from his home in Ramallah.

It is worth mentioning that Burnat’s brother is currently being hospitalized in Istanbul, Turkey, after he was shot by an Israeli soldier three years ago.

An average of 85 searches and detentions take place weekly, according to UN documentation.
