Masked men rob pharmacy at knifepoint in Amman

A pharmacy was robbed by two masked men on Saturday evening in Amman, according to a security source.

The men used a knife to threaten the pharmacists with and were able to take 220 JOD in cash before fleeing the scene.

Police are now searching for the suspects.

This was the second robbery to take place in Jordan on Saturday.

Earlier that day, a supermarket in Al Husun, Irbid, was robbed at gunpoint, a security source said.

The masked robbers took 700 JOD in cash and were able to escape without being caught.

An investigation into the robbery, caught on CCTV camera below, is ongoing.
