The Israeli forces hit two Hamas targets with at least four rockets in the Gaza Strip overnight Friday after a rocket was fired from Gaza towards “Israel”.

No injuries were reported, but the sites were severely damaged, according to Maan News Agency.

The Israeli army said in a statement that it “sees the Hamas terror organization as the sole one responsible for what happens in the Gaza Strip and from it."

The attack came after a rocket was fired from Gaza towards Shaar HaNegev regional council in the southern Israel on Friday evening. The rocket fell in an open area, no injuries or damages were reported.
