Two Palestinians were injured on Friday by Israeli forces near the Gaza borders during demonstrations held against Donald Trump’s latest announcement of Jerusalem as an Israeli capital.

Spokesperson of the Gaza Ministry of Health Ashraf Al-Qedra said that two Palestinians were injured during the clashes.

Demonstrations take place every Friday after the prayers since U.S. President Donald Trump announced earlier on December he would move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Since then, many demonstrations were held in many Islamic countries such as Jordan, Turkey, and Egypt opposing the step.
