A car explosion took place in Sidon, southern Lebanon, on Sunday morning targeting the Palestinian official in Hamas, Mohammed Hamdan.

Contradicted reports whether he died or not, but Wafa News confirmed that Mohammad Hamdan was lightly injured in the bombing.

While Al Arabiyah TV reported number of deaths and injuries in the explosion, a military source told AFP that Mohammed Hamdan sustained an injury in his legs in “the explosion of a bomb placed under a BMW brand car".

Lebanese media reports confirmed the death of Abu Hamzeh.
