A city in the Netherlands has named several of its streets after Palestinian cities.

If you make a trip to the Dutch city of Eindhoven, you might end up on Hebron Street, Nazareth Street, Ramleh Street, Jaffa Street, Jericho Street and even Palestine Street.

Pictures of the “Palestinian” street signs were circulated on Twitter on Saturday, in which Twitter users pointed out that Holland had made this move to stand in solidarity with Palestine, after US President Donald Trump declared the city of Jerusalem as the official capital of Israel.

Mass demonstrations and marches have taken place in Palestine and across the world in protest of Trump’s decision.

The city of Salt in Jordan went one step further by naming the 60th Street as the “Arab Jerusalem Street” in December 2017.
