Ivanka Trump, the US president's daughter and her husband Jared Kushner, reached an agreement together for her to become US president sometime in the future, The Independent reported citing a new book of explosive claims purported to come from White House insiders.

The couple have already discussed Ivanka’s ambitions to be the first female leader in the U.S, especially after accepting jobs at the White House.

The yet-unpublished book, under the title Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, was based on more than 200 interviews with Donald Trump and his staff, the journalist Michael Wolff said.

The book which is to be published by New York Magazine, reads that Ms Trump and her husband accepted posts as advisers in the West Wing, in a “joint decision, and, in some sense, a joint job.”

“The two had made an earnest deal: If sometime in the future the opportunity arose, she’d be the one to run for president,” Wolff wrote.

Meanwhile, former White House strategist, Steve Bannon, was “horrified” when he heard about the it, according to The Independent.

He even used the words “They didn’t actually say that”, “Oh my God”.

Banon has previously blamed the couple publicly for all the bad decisions in the White House, in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine.
