Israeli Prime Minister Benjamine Netenyahu warned on Wednesday Hamas from any military “escalation”, threatening to use all the means to defend his “country.”

Netenyahu made the threat after the escalation erupted in the Palestinian Territories after U. S. president Donald Trump announced he will be moving the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and to recognize it as an Israeli capital.

He made the speech at one of the military air bases saying that “[we] will not accept any escalation from Hamas or any terrorist organizations against [them].” “We will use all the means to defend our sovereignty and the security of our people,” he added.

After Trump made his highly controversial announcement at the sixth of December, many demonstrations were held the Palestinian territories, and other Islamic capitals such as Amman, Istanbul, and Cairo opposing the decision. More than ten were killed in Palestine, hundreds were injured.
