Five Palestinians were arrested in predawn raids on Wednesday in the occupied West Bank governorates of Ramallah, Jenin, Jerusalem and Hebron, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS).
The Israeli soldiers reportedly raided the village of Ni’lin, west of Ramallah and searched homes where two were arrested.
In Jenin, the PPS office said Israeli soldiers invaded the village of Rommana and arrested one Palestinian from his home.
Another Palestinian was taken from his home in Biddu town, in occupied Jerusalem.
one Palestinian was abducted from his home in Yatta town, in Hebron.
As Israeli soldiers broke into homes and searched them, they confiscated three Palestinian cars, PPS reported.
Furthermore, roadblocks were installed at the main entrances of many villages and towns in Hebron.
At least 620 Palestinians including 170 children were arrested since the U.S President Donald Trump made the announcement recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
