In an attempt to fight sexual harassment in Egypt, the Cairo Opera House will hold a concert on Wednesday under the name of “ Musical Pictures”, Egypt Independent (EI) reported.

The show will include different kinds of effects and singing, performed by five and six year-olds.

Directed and composed by Mohamed Abdel Wahab Abdel Fattah, the show will play a soundtrack for the anti-harassment movie ”Du’aa al-Karawan” (The Nightingale’s Prayer).

Along with scenes from the original film where music will play, ballet will be performed too.

According to EI, a technique called “music with several aids” is used in this comprehensive performance.

The technique revolves around the music, which is supported by other elements such as poetry, art, dancing and cinematography.

Mohamed Abdel Wahab, who is a pioneer in this technique, says this is the first time to Egypt to witness such a technique.
