Israeli forces reportedly killed a Palestinian on Friday, along the Gaza border, during clashes with the Israeli army, Palestinian sources said.

The man, 24-year-old Zakaria Alqafarna, was reportedly shot by a live round by Israeli soldiers, Israeli news site Haaretz reported.

Meanwhile, at least four were injured in clashes in the West Bank, including three who allegedly suffered wounds after being shot by rubber-tipped bullets.

The death and injuries come as Palestinian political factions call upon Palestinians to take part in the third ‘Friday of Rage’ protests, in rejection of the US President Donald Trump’s widely condemned declaration recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
