A video has gone viral on social media, showing Israeli force violently detaining two Palestinian teenage girls from an ambulance in Hebron in the occupied West Bank.

The video shows a group of armed Israeli soldiers stop a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance at gunpoint in the town of Halhul, before attempting to pull people at the back of the ambulance out onto the street.

Following verbal and physical confrontations between Palestinians and Israeli forces, the soldiers jumped into the ambulance and pulled out two Palestinians.

Israeli forces are known to routinely target Palestinian medical services, and paramedics have been wounded and ambulances damaged repeatedly. There have also been several documented cases of Israeli forces stopping ambulances to take out wounded Palestinians from inside.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society has repeatedly condemned the Israeli army for targeting its staff.
