Temperatures will heat up few degrees starting Saturday and over the next two days, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD)

Saturday will witness temperatures that are above their annual average with a slight rise. However, the weather will remain relatively cold in the Badia regions, while being pleasant in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.

Daytime temperatures expected in Amman for today will reach 16 degrees Celsius in the capital, 15 in the northern cities and 11 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 7, 6 and 5 respectively. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register a high of 24 degrees and a low of 15 at night, the JMD added.
