A new transportation system will soon be implemented in the Gulf.
An ultra-fast tube will connect GCC countries and will operate at a speed of 1,100 km per hour, according to Arab News.
The Hyperloop train project comes soon after US-based Virgin Hyperloop One founder, Josh Giegel, and the nonprofit Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (MiSK), signed an agreement which aims at helping disadvantaged youth in Saudi Arabia.

Giegel told reporters that the new transportation system will help employ Saudi youth after giving them engineering courses and technical skills training.
According to Giegel, the new transportation system will be cheaper and around three times faster than regular high-speed trains, allowing countries to be closer to each other, more than ever before.
Details of the project are to be discussed with Giegel’s Saudi counterparts in the near future.
