The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said in a recent report that 49 children have been killed since the beginning of last year - three of them are 13-15 years old, while 300 children are still imprisoned by Israel. The report comes one day before World Children's Day (November 20th).
The report said that Israeli soldiers have abducted 15000 Palestinians, including 4000 children, since the al-Quds Intifada started in late October 2015. Three hundred of those children are still in captivity, facing bad treatment, torture and being denied the right to education.
The report added that 418 houses were demolished in 2016, leaving more than 1800 people, including 484 children, internally displaced. Thirty nine percent of the demolished houses were in Jerusalem.
