Ya’rub Qudah, Minister of Industry and Trade And Supply revealed plans to establish a new airport in the city of Al Mafraq.

Qudah said the project is a result of an agreement between an American company and the government, and would entail the establishment of a logistic center in Al Mafraq.

He said that Jordan had made plans with the WOrld Bank to make Jordan and its neighboring countries the main platform for reconstruction in the region.

This comes as part of the Silk Road 3 conference which Qudah inaugurated today in place of Prime Minister Hani Mulki.
