King Abdullah of Jordan today paid tribute to those killed in the Amman bomb attacks, on the 12th anniversary of the bombing.
The king said on his official Twitter account: “Amman’s martyrs, and whoever sacrificed his life for this country, will stay forever alive in our hearts, let Jordan stay strong and steadfast.”
Al-Qaeda set off a series of coordinated bomb attacks on three hotel lobbies in Amman, Jordan, one of which was hosting a wedding, on 9 November 2005. The attacks killed 60 people and injured 115 others.
