Restaurants and stores of Ajloun are walking on eggshells as crackdowns by local health directorates across the Kingdom continue their campaign to vigilantly seize and destroy spoiled foodstuffs.

The Ajloun Health Directorate managed to seize frozen chicken, meat and eggs that are unsuitable for human consumption in Ajloun.

The Directorate announced that it has destroyed 324 cartons of eggs coming from Al Azraq to be distributed in Ajloun, while 123 kgs of chicken and rice were destroyed as well.

22 warnings were issued to various stores and restaurants for violating health protocol.
