The Jordan Post Company’s website was hacked on Friday night by unknown persons, who were protesting what they referred to as “the inappropriate treatment of customs employees at the post office.”

The hackers displayed a message on the site, which criticised the “high fees on goods purchased by Jordanians from abroad.”

Sources from the post office said that the website is functioning normally now, and that legal action will be taken to punish those responsible for the hacking.
