Four people were arrested for stealing cheques worth up to 1.8 million JOD ($2.5 million) in the city of Ramtha, Irbid.

ِA security source said that the police were informed about a safe that has gone missing after a shop was broken into.

The robbers were identified and caught in different locations and at different times; they all confessed to committing the crime.

Work is underway to transfer the case to court, the same source added.
