Israeli occupation forces detained four Palestinian fishermen on Sunday, and confiscated their boat while they were fishing in the northern Gaza Strip, according to Petra News Agency.

The Israeli navy forces besieged the boat before arresting the fishermen and leading them to an unknown destination.

Fishermen are allowed to fish within 20 nautical miles from the beach according to the Oslo accords, signed between Palestinian Authority and Israel in 1993. However, Israel often limits the fishing zone to six nautical miles and many fishermen have been killed while doing their work over the past couple of years.
