Are you as mad at speed cameras as this guy is? We think not!
One driver in Amman showed the government just how furious he is at the money-making machines by firing his gun at one of them.
The mystery man shamelessly filmed his crime, and proudly announced that he “did it for the people of Sahab.”
Sahab is an area in southeast Amman.
In July, the Greater Amman Municipality issued 8000 tickets in the first three days after installing new speed cameras across the city.
The highly sophisticated cameras are able to identify several violations, including the use of phones while driving, driving in the wrong lane, as well as identifying unlicensed vehicles.
Last week, Amman’s Mayor, Yousef Shawarbeh, responded to those who say that the Amman Municipality aims to collect money from people by saying “indeed, we want to collect money from Jordanians.”
Let's hope this man's face was caught on camera before he shot it in the face!
