Israeli forces detain 21 Palestinians in West Bank raids

Israeli forces detained 21 Palestinians Monday night, including two minors, in raids across the occupied West Bank, according to local sources and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society.

Israeli army detained nine Palestinians from the Hebron district, in the southern West Bank, after raiding and ransacked their homes. This included two minors aged 15 and 16 years, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

Soldier also detained a Palestinian from Azzeh refugee camp in Bethlehem and another from Jericho.

Three more Palestinians were detained from Jenin refugee camp, in northern West Bank, two from Qalqilia area and another two from the Nablus area. Forces also detained three Palestinians from Jerusalem.

According to prisoner’s rights group Adameer, 6279 Palestinians were detained by Israel as of August 2017, 465 of which are under administrative detention and 300 are children.
