Jordanian Prime Minister Hani Al Mulki held a meeting with the Economic Policies Council at the Prime Ministry on Sunday morning.

The meeting was attended by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of State for Media Affairs.

The Council discussed ideas and proposals that would enhance the economic growth plan for several sectors in order to overcome challenges the economy is currently facing.

During the meeting, Mulki stressed the government’s commitment to implementing their plan for economic growth and the financial reform plan, which depends on self-sufficiency.

King Abdullah II had earlier this year attended a similar meeting where the Council released the five-year Jordan Economic Growth Plan, and where his Majesty stressed the need for implementing the plan successfully.
