The Ministry of Education has launched a new application called “Read to Me,” which helps students with their English-language skills.

Students can use the app by downloading it on their smartphones and tablets.

The Minister of Education, Omar Al Razzaz, believes that it’s important to keep up with technology and the technological devices used by students in 2017.

Launched at the beginning of the 2017/18 academic year, in cooperation with the Advanced Computer Services Company, Al Razzaz said that students are not obliged to download the new app, but that it will help them in the long run.

Lessons available on the app are taught by native English speakers and will help app-users pronounce and spell words correctly.

To access those lessons, a special barcode can be found on the Ministry of Education’s website or on papers provided by the school, said Hala Zawati, the Executive Director of the Advanced Computer Services Company.

Despite English becoming more commonly used by younger generations on a daily basis, “Read to Me” remains an essential tool for English learners who did not master the right accent for various reasons.
