British Airways flight evacuated at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport for security reasons

After a “direct threat” was made towards the British Airways flight from Paris, passengers onboard were evacuated at Charles de Gaulle aiport
The flight was due to take off bound for Heathrow in London on Sunday when the incident occurred, according to The Guardian.


Travellers waiting on the plane for an hour, being told there were technical issues then told the plane was to move to another part of the airport before the truth was revealed.


Passengers on board were told that a threat was made against the aircraft, said passenger James Anderson.


Another passenger said, “The pilot did a great job in keeping us all calm.”


British Airways said: “The safety and security of our customers and crew is always our top priority. Additional security checks are being carried out as a precaution. We would never operate a flight unless it is safe to do so.”


A British Airways spokesman said the flight had taken off at 11.10 am.
