A Jordanian pilgrim was abandoned in a Meccan hospital by a Jordanian traveling agency after pilgrimage season ended this year.

Omar Badnadi, the pilgrim’s brother, told Roya that the traveling company returned to Jordan on Monday, leaving his hospitalized brother behind in Mecca.

The pilgrim was hospitalized in Mina Hospital, which only operates during Hajj season, and was later transferred to King Salman Hospital in Mecca.

Badnadi told Roya that no one from the agency nor the Jordanian Awqaf Ministry, which is responsible for Jordanian pilgrims in Hajj, checked up on his brother.

Roya has repeatedly tried contacting the Ministry of Awqaf for information regarding the matter, but was unable to get any response.
