CDD prepared for Tuesday's elections

The Civil Defence Department (CDD) has implemented an operational plan to ensure people's safety, alongside a smooth voting process, during the municipal and decentralization elections to be held Tuesday, Petra news reported.

The CDD Director General, Major General Mustafa Al-Bazaiha, is working to ensure the readiness of department staff and the preparation of temporary centers near the polling and counting sites .

Al-Bazaiha has also instructed the opening of all operation rooms at the CDD directorates, to ensure that citizens' calls are answered on the emergency line (911).

In order to avoid any inconvenient incidents during the electoral process, the CDD urged voters to choose the right time to vote, avoid congestion and gatherings, people are warned against the use of fireworks to express joy and festivity, the CDD director said.
