The Palestinian town of Yatta was put under lockdown by Israeli forced following an alleged stabbing attack carried out by a Palestinian youth against an Israeli man, leaving him injured, according to Ma'an.

Palestinian youth Ismail Ibrahim Abu Aram was detained after allegedly stabbing a 42 year-old Israeli man he worked with at a supermarket in the Israeli city of Yavne.

The injured Israeli was reported to be in stable condition.

According to the Israeli army, Yatta was put under complete closure after the attack, with forces blocking all entrances and exits to the village. “All crossings and passages from the village will be permitted for Palestinians only after security checks,” said a spokesperson for the Israeli army.
