Prime Minister Dr. Hani Al Mulki discussed recent Al Aqsa developments over the phone with his Palestinian counterpart, Rami Hamdallah, reports Ma’an News Agency. During the call, they touched upon the Occupation forces’ escalation of the situation at the holy site.

According to Ma’an, the two parties studied collaborative efforts to protect Islamic and Christian sites against Occupation violations by Jordanian and Palestinian leaderships, headed respectively by HM King Abdullah II and president Mahmoud Abbas.

Hamdallah emphasised to Dr. Al Mulki his government’s rejection of any false justification the Occupation uses when violating the Mosque, warning of a change in the status quo in Jerusalem and insults to the Mosque’s symbolic standing.
