A man in his twenties was allegedly shot dead in the Shmeisani area of Amman on Sunday morning, and another man wounded, according to a security source.

The source told Roya that the shooting occurred after a dispute between two young men and the suspected shooter.

The victims were reportedly sitting in a vehicle in front of a restaurant when they were both shot, leading to the death of one man and the injury of another, who was shot in the foot, according to the source.

Initial investigations indicate that the shootings were caused by personal disagreements between the parties, the source said, adding that the shooter is known to police and that they are searching for him.
