One Palestinian has been killed and another to critically injured after an unidentified explosion took place in Hebron in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday.

The explosion occurred on empty land in the area of Luza, and Palestinian police and security services have opened a case to investigate the explosion, the cause of which is still unknown, according to Palestinian police spokesman Luay Irzeiqa
