Residents of the village of Momya, in Karak, southern Jordan, are protesting having their water cut off from their houses, blocking the Aqaba-Karak-Jordan Valley highway with burning tires, stones and vehicles.

Security personnel have arrived at the scene and dispersed the protesters, clearing out the road, after the Water Authority promised to provide water to their houses.
