One person has been arrested after allegedly stabbing two people at a wedding in the Faqqu area of Karak Governorate, around 150km south of Amman, according to a security source.

The source said that a dispute broke out between several people at the wedding, with the suspect reportedly stabbing two people. The injured were taken to Prince Ali Hospital, where they were described as being in stable condition.

The suspect was arrested and taken to a police station for further questioning in order to determine the circumstances of the incident, the security source added.
