A large fire engulfed five acres of dry grass in addition to forest trees in the Al-Kamaliyah area, western Amman, and not far from Salt, on Saturday.

Military aircrafts belonging to the Jordanian Armed Forces (Arab Army) worked alongside firefighters to put out the blazing fire.

Firefighters were able to control and eventually put out the fire under the supervision of Director General of the Civil Defense Department (CDD), Major General Mustafa Bazaiah, using aerial and land rescue and fire-fighting techniques.
