His Majesty King Abdullah II is visiting neighboring Kuwait on Tuesday.
The Jordanian monarch is making a trip to the Gulf state to extend his greetings to Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasion of Ramadan.
King Abdullah will be accompanied by a delegation on his friendly visit to Kuwait, according to the country’s official state news agency.
On Saturday, Jordan’s King received a telephone call from Kuwait’s Emir, where the two leaders discussed current developments in the region and cooperation between the two countries, according to a Royal Court Statement.
Last week, Kuwait's Emir has taken on mediation efforts aimed at resolving a diplomatic rift in the Gulf, after Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, Bahrain and other Arab states cut diplomatic ties with Qatar.
