A military court hearing into the fatal shootings of three US Special Forces instructors in November 2016 was adjourned on Sunday until Tuesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The adjournment was issued to allow the defendant, a Jordanian soldier, to find a lawyer to represent him.

The defendant was arrested in late 2016 and is charged with the premeditated murder of the three US Special Forces instructors, who were allegedly shot dead as the drove towards the entrance to the King Faisal Airbase in Jafer, Maan, on November 4, 2016, Petra reported.

The three US service members were from the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
