The Israeli Occupation's ongoing attacks on Gaza have lasted for 208 days, with the military targeting areas like Rafah and Khan Yunis, resulting in more casualties. The death toll has reached 34,535, with 77,704 injured since October 7.

United Nations relief official Martin Griffiths described the potential invasion of Rafah as a horrific event due to its densely populated Palestinian population.

Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened to invade Rafah, asserting that the war's goals remain unchanged and rejecting any settlement regarding the city.

Netanyahu stated that Palestinians were being evacuated from Rafah in preparation for an operation, emphasizing that his forces would enter the city regardless of ceasefire negotiations.

Additionally, there has been an escalation of student protests in American universities supporting Gaza and demanding the severing of economic ties with Israeli Occupation.

At Columbia University, the New York Police were called to disperse and arrest protesting students, resulting in multiple arrests on campus.
